A Mirror Will is prepared when a couple want to make almost identical Wills leaving, for example, everything to each other respectively and thereafter to the children, or where there are no children, to a named beneficiary. Where appropriate appointing testamentary Guardians for infant children.
Under our Fixed Fee Service we will:
- Take your instructions
- Prepare 2 simple Wills which will dispose of all your assets, appoint Executors and, where appropriate appoint Guardians for your children
- Arrange for execution of the Will
- Store the Will
Under our Fixed Fee Service we will not:
- Deal with complex tax planning issues
- Create complex Trusts
- Deal with Wills that require advice regarding agricultural or business property
We will confirm that your matter is suitable for our Fixed Price Law service on receipt of your detailed instructions. If your matter does not fall within our Fixed Price Law service e.g. if the matter is complex or additional work is required, we will still be able to undertake the work for you under our hourly rate service.
